She's really gorgeous! <3 I'll be sure to download her once I figure the configuration thing for AwesomeMod. I just don't know what I'm supposed enable/disable from the configuration chart. Any ideas what I should do, Jenna? I just want AwesomeMod for over-sliding, so I can download your Sims. :)

Thank you Raven! Ok if you have AwesomeMod already intalled. Just do this...

Before entering CAS Make sure to press ctrl+shift+c to open up the cheats menu and enter "setconfig cassliderscaleincreased true" For the AwesomeMod Slider limit to work.

Or if you are at the Configuration page now.

Here:
http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/ts3/awesome/config.php

Go to where it says CAS & Sim creation Features.
And then slide down to:

CASSliderScaleIncreased Enter Enabled
CASSliderScaleMultiplier Enter 2

You could disable everything else if you want. On the side it gives you a little explanation on what the mods do.

Thanks so much! Ok, now what's the deal with Mirror 1 & Mirror 2? Am I supposed to download those too?

JennaBray's Sims said...

Mirror 1 & 2 those are just different links where the mod could be downloaded in case one fails, it's the same thing. Make sure that when you finish configuring the mod press the generate button at the bottom of the page, then click save.

Yay! It worked. Thanks so much. :) Off to play your new Sim. (:

Great! Enjoy! And I will probably be done with your request 2morrow. Have fun!

Seems like I got an error - http://i39.tinypic.com/d8b4m.jpg

Now what? I must have done something wrong

JennaBray's Sims said...

Click ignore. The Mod will still work. It's non-critical. The reason for this is probably because the haven't updated the AwesomeMod to the most previous patch for sims 3.

JennaBray's Sims said...

It happens to me too! I just ignore it.

Anonymous said...

Oh thanks, I thought I messed my game up. Any way to get rid of that message?

JennaBray's Sims said...

I have no clue. I tried and failed. I know I have sliders and hacks, Maybe that's the reason. But it happened to me when I downloaded a sim from the exchange that required a expansion pack that I didn't have.

Ok, I finally figured out what was causing it to happen. It was Bella3lek4's Facial Feature Sliders. Those are not compatible with AwesomeMod while the UI Mod is compatible. Wow, this sucks. I like both, but having to get rid of one for the other just disappoints me. :( I'll have to give up one of them.

Anonymous said...

Edit - I figured out the reason that I forgot to add: There USED to be mods that were compatible with Awesome Mod, but ever since patch 2.3 There were none that are compatible.

Anonymous said...

Corrected - It must be because the resource.cfg was installed wrong. I don't really know. I'm just getting these replies.

JennaBray's Sims said...

So patching the game made the mods non compatible. Well that sucks. I really liked Bella3lek4's Facial Feature Sliders. I think they should fix the problem. Anyways it doesn't mess up the game so I guess I could still keep them in there. Just ignore the mismatch.

Last question, does this message only show up when you're downloading something or does it also pop up in the game? I wouldn't mind when I'm downloading stuff, but if it pops up in game, I'll get annoyed. You're right, they need to fix this mess because I really like Bella3lek4's Facial Feature Sliders. Most of the Sims I make uses that Slider.

JennaBray's Sims said...

It only pops up when downloading and when the game is loading. After that no more.

With LadyFrontbum's help, I was able to figure wy we were getting the error messages. We both have the UI Mod and Bella3lek4's Facial Feature Sliders, but those are not the problem because as these Mods work for every patch. The problem is that Pescado never updated for: 1.11/2.6/3.2 patches. So, what I've been told is to use the test version, but we still can have the configuration file that we saved. Hah, so we weren't doing anything wrong, AwesomeMod wasn't updated. For now, we are supposed to use the test version right here: http://beta.moreawesomethanyou.com/ts3/
Hope this helps. I'm going to test it out and let you know. :)

Anonymous said...

The test version of AwesomeMod is in the test folder.

JennaBray's Sims said...

Yeah! That's what I thought. I knew it was because the AwesomeMod wasn't patched. Thank You Raven!

You're welcome. :)

She's beautiful, JennaBray!
And would you consider uploading her in .package format please? I've tried downloading her in sims3pack format but launcher won't work. >:(
_____________________________________
I'm kind of confused... I've just downloaded
both AwesomeMod and Bella3lek4's Facial Feature Sliders. I have put them into
Program Files > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > Mods > Packages
Is that all I have to do or is there more to it?

Anonymous said...

@ Green- Yes, I think that's all there is to it, but before you go into Create-A-Sim, you must enable this cheat for the Sliders/Facial Features to snap into place: "setconfig cassliderscaleincreased true." If you are getting error messages from AwesomeMod, download the test version instead: http://beta.moreawesomethanyou.com/ts3/
It is found in the 'Test' directory. Hope this helps. Also be sure to have all the required CC for the Sim to show up exact. Hope this helps. :)

Thank you RavenBlackRoses!
This helped alot. :)

Jenna, since you are making a Sim for me, I'll be making you Sim as a thank you and for being a great friend. I'll try to start on the Sim tomorrow since I start school again. Only 2/3 months left of this year, then I have to start another year in August, but thank goodness for the Summer break which will start in like June 8 or 9.

Green said...

Oh no!
I had to remove Awsomemod because it stopped my launcher from installing anything and the game to work. And now it won't install any of your sims. :(

Anonymous said...

Green:: Are you sure you have your Resource.cfg installed correctly? Do you have any other Core Mods? If you have any other Core Mod, AwesomeMod will conflict because rule is you can have only one core Mod. Also, have you tried the tool that Delphy made? It will install the framework file in it's proper place. Have you made a configuration file? If not, try: http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/ts3/awesome/config.php Since you only want to Overslide the CAS Sliders to have the Sim look exact, disable everything except CASSliderScaleIncreased Enter Enabled
CASSliderScaleMultiplier Enter 2. By enabling these two things only, you won't have to worry about messing your game up, but it is possible if you use Supreme Controller which is a big no-no and it could mess it up big time if you have no idea what you are doing. Also, do you have any other Mods conflicting? Hope these suggestions help. Otherwise, I'm so sorry. If these things don't work, I don't know what's wrong. Sorry.

Thank you so much Raven for helping out the other people. I have not been feeling so good. I am definetly gonna post you request tonight.

@Lady! Thank you so much! Your skins are fantastic and my favorite so far, I love how they give a realistic look to the sims.

No problem Jenna and glad to have helped. :)

On moreawesomethanyou it says that the framwork is for advanced/mac users only. And I don't have a mac. D:

Anonymous said...

Is it me or some of the posts aren't showing up? Hmmm...

Edit: Never mind, just had to refresh the page. Hope you get well Jenna. :)

Anonymous said...

@ Green:: Hmmm... That's odd. I never had issues with downloading the framework file from Delphy's tool which is here: http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=384014
And it works on Vista, Windows 7, & XP. So, this one should work. For some reason, the game will add Mod/Packages folders and Resource.cfgs in each directory except the one you are currently using i.e the game/disk you are using, so delete those copies and keep the Resource.cfg and Mods/Packages you are using. You must have a Resource and that one file that starts with d3dx9_31.dll in each of these folder for games Base, WA, and High End Stuff in the folder Game < Bin which is found in Programs<EA<Sims 3 (Name of game). Hope this helps. Otherwise, I don't have a clue. Sorry. I wish I could've helped out more.
